Vapaa ’26 Graduation Exhibition
The Free Art School’s graduation exhibition Vapaa ’26 opens to the public on April 25, 2026, at Puristamo, Cable Factory in Helsinki. This year, thirteen painters are graduating from the school – a traditional art institution dedicated solely to painting.

Opening Hours
The exhibition is open daily from 25 April to 17 May.
- Mon–Fri 10:00–20:00
- Sat–Sun 10:00–18:00
The opening reception will take place on Friday, 24 April, from 17:00 to 20:00.
Exceptions in opening times
The exhibition is closed on May Day, Friday, May 1.
On Wed May 6th the exhibition opens at 11 am.

Graduation exhibition catalogue
The catalogue presents 13 graduating painters.
This trilingual publication includes an essay by Vice Rector and visual artist Hannaleena Heiska, as well as texts on the newly graduated painters by art critic Helen Korpak. The artworks in the catalogue were photographed by Virppi Sysilehto, and the visual design was created by graphic designer Pekka Toivonen.
